Lessons From November

So I’m halfway through Phase 1, and I must say that I am pleased with the results so far.  My wife and I are growing closer and communication has been opening up as well.  I am impressed with how quickly I am noticing a difference.

While my writing and blogging skills are likely still in need of lots of work, I am noticing some improvement there as well. Hopefully you are too.

To be specific, I have planned and executed 4 dates so far and if I continue to plan every week, then I am halfway done with this phase.  I already have some plans in the works for the next 2-3 weeks, so I think we’re in good shape. This second half will definitely bring some greater challenges with everything else going on this month.  Anastasia has a few shows for her business, MadFads, which will also contribute to the mayhem. But she has been doing extremely well so far.

I can’t exactly say the same for my “business.” I’m far from any point where I can be making any money, but I do want to give a special thanks to all of you. Thanks to your support, we totaled more than 1,000 views last month.  While that is nothing to brag about for big-time bloggers, it was very encouraging for me. Never mind that a large chunk of those views came from "bots".  

I have learned a lot about promoting a blog, but I’m still a little worried about putting a lot of energy into it. I know it will take work, and I’m prepared to do the work, I just don’t know if I’m ready to do it now.  

So I kind of need more of your support!

My Blogging Goals for December

So moving forward, I want to start giving bigger commitments to you. I can’t give you better content without criticism, either good or bad. So until that is more abundant, I can’t make any promises on that plane.

As for being seen, I do have control there. For December, I’d like to double the views and hit 2,000. If I can grow my audience, then I can get more feedback and thereby produce better material. From the things I’ve read, this shouldn’t be too hard for us to pull off. I’ll continue to share only the posts I feel are worth sharing, and I’ll try to make it easier for you to do the same.
