I keep thinking I need to make my posts more interesting, but then I remember that I’m not ready to go into full promotion yet. I just get so excited when I start seeing lots of page views.
So for those of you reading today, I’ll warn you before hand that there is nothing real exciting in today’s post.
Before the weather turned bad, I was thinking about a trip to the zoo. My wife has been wanting to go to the zoo since before we were married. An indoor equivalent would be an aquarium. Which I also thought about, but just wasn't too thrilled about.
Ana and I have always been big into rock climbing, however, so I thought that would be a good way to step things up. It’s familiar to both of us, and it’s something that we both regret not doing as much as we used to. Also, it is very easy to spend a few hours doing it.
With rock climbing in mind, I thought about all the ingredients that would go well with it. I admit I started getting excited about the idea of dating recipes, which I’ll into more about some other time. Right now, I’m in that weird, “awkward” state. You know, the one where you’re not quite sure if you’re still a kid or if you can call yourself an adult now. I know I’m far from maturity when it comes to this posting stuff, but I feel like I’m starting to understand what it means to be a full time blogger. The thought is both intimidating and exciting.
So for now, I’m going to keep blogging in journal-like fashion while I work more on the back-end stuff. That mostly involves creating a really intuitive, really useful system for planning and presenting dates. I've got some good stuff so far, but there is still plenty of fleshing out to do.
Sorry for the detour. I’m going to stick to just an activity for this week, but rock climbing definitely fits the bill for having a longer date.
